Lingley Mere Business Park, Warrington:
Transport Appraisal, Travel Plan, access design and ongoing advice relating to planned expansion of business park office development to accommodate a total of 1,000,000ft2. CEC also undertake the role of Travel Plan Co-ordinator for the Business Park and undertake vehicle trip monitoring in accordance with the requirements of the S106 legal agreement.
Weymouth College, Weymouth:
Transportation and Drainage Assessments for redevelopment of existing College building for residential and office uses including development of Travel Plan. Detail design of civil engineering infrastructure together with car park design and associated off-site traffic calming measures.
St Joseph’s Upper and Lower Schools, Swindon:
Transportation Appraisal for new school campus combining the two schools on one site and examining the redevelopment opportunities on the other. Safe Routes to School as well as a School Travel Plan for the school(s) was assessed, together with appropriate cycle/car parking provision, a new signal access junction and pedestrian/cycle crossing. Access options to serve the site to be redeveloped for housing were also engineered.
Consortium – Abbotswood, Romsey, Hampshire:
Transportation Assessment and Flood Risk Assessment/Drainage Strategy for new 800-dwelling residential development on outskirts of town incorporating integrated public transport solutions, and new 'Local Centre Facilities'. Included individual junction and corridor micro-simulation modelling. Concept design of all off site highway improvement works to HCC approval.
Westbury Homes – Shaftesbury, Dorset:
CEC designed the highways and drainage for this large residential development. The domestic drainage had to consider the proximity of the houses to the back of the adoptable footpaths. Various types of road drainage were used in the design, including central drainage channels. On-site surface water storage was increased through the enlargement of an existing pond.
Charles Church (Western) – Ruardean:
Despite its situation on a steep gradient, the design had to achieve Part M level access, particularly as some of the houses fronted directly onto an existing carriageway. Part of the drainage design utilized Stormcell for on-site attenuation in agreement with welsh Water.
Olympic White Water & Canoe Slalom Course, Broxbourne:
Preparing and agreeing scope for Transport Assessment for venue site for 2012 London Olympics. Prepared Transport Assessments for White Water Canoe Centre for both Olympic and legacy uses. Prepared Legal Order for necessary public footpath.
Bristol City FC / Bristol Rovers FC / Bristol RFC:
Transportation feasibility of three alternative sites for possible relocation of all clubs to a single site. Transportation feasibility of nine alternative sites including a Transportation Assessment of the existing ground for possible redevelopment.
Diving Centre, Tidenham:
S278 detailed design and CDM Co-ordination input for major/minor priority junction into Diving Centre site, from the A48 Trunk Road near Chepstow.
